Our approach

Offgrid Minds is being built around user-owned intelligence: useful context that stays under your control instead of becoming a permanent company record. This notice describes the public website only — not the phone apps, downloadable Expert Packs, future hardware, app stores, purchases, or support channels. Those products will have their own privacy disclosures when they are released.

What we do not collect by default

Simply visiting this website does not require you to identify yourself. In normal use, we do not ask for or receive:

• Your precise location, GPS coordinates, or movement history
• Access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or files
• A user account, password, or social login
• Payment information through ordinary browsing
• Advertising identifiers or cross-site tracking profiles
• Conversations, personal memory, installed maps, or Expert Pack content from the product

The interactive demo on this site is a browser simulation. It is designed to illustrate the product interface without accessing your real device sensors or private data.

Information you choose to give us

The only personal information we intentionally collect through this website is what you decide to submit — typically through the early-access or launch-updates form. Depending on the form you use, that may include:

• Optional first name
• Selected areas of interest (for example: phone app, maps, Expert Packs, hardware, or creators)
• Optional platform preference (iPhone, Android, both, or unsure)
• An optional message describing your use case
• Consent to receive launch-related communications

We use that information only to respond to your request for updates about Offgrid Minds and the topics you selected. We do not treat a launch signup as permission to access product data on your device.

Product data stays separate

Personal memory, conversations, imported documents, photographs, saved maps, weather snapshots, and installed Expert Packs inside the Offgrid Minds product are not attached to a website signup. The product direction is local, user-controlled intelligence — not a company-owned profile assembled from your private activity.

Basic website operation

Like most websites, ours is hosted on infrastructure that may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver pages securely and reliably. This can include items such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, request time, and basic security or abuse-prevention signals.

We use this information to operate, protect, and improve the site — not to sell it, and not to build an advertising profile of visitors.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website is designed to work without invasive tracking. We do not use the site to run behavioral advertising networks or to follow you across unrelated websites. How long we keep information

Launch-update submissions are kept only as long as needed to contact you about Offgrid Minds, honor unsubscribe requests, and maintain ordinary business records. Technical logs kept by hosting providers are generally retained for a limited period for security and reliability.

Your choices

• Browse without signing up. Reading the site does not require submitting personal information.
• Unsubscribe. Launch emails will include a way to stop future messages.
• Request deletion. You may ask us to remove your launch-update information by contacting us at the address below.
• Decline device permissions. This website is not designed to begin with a wall of permission prompts.

Children

This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the website, hosting setup, or legal requirements change. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here rather than hidden in fine print elsewhere.
